BIO

Through his composition and piano playing, Ryan Camastral excels in his magnification of emotions.  His music is shaped by his vast experience of world travel and exposure to the musics of various global cultures.  He has lived in China, Argentina, and the United States, and has studied and practiced music of varying styles.

Ryan has played professionally for over ten years, and although rooted in jazz, his practice extends into countless genres.  Ryan has worked for MacGillivray Freeman Films as well as composed multimedia compositions for MeatEater Inc. He recently finished scoring an original short film titled "Camino" directed by Florencia Manovil.  Ryan is also a studio session pianist for various artists (recently Novo Music) and continues to play professionally, primarily in the Bay Area.
